Your journey begins at the Church of Evangelistria, a beloved local pilgrimage site nestled on a hill overlooking Nafplio. From there, you’ll travel to the historic Monastery of Agia Moni, one of the area’s most significant monastic complexes. Its quiet beauty and rich history make it a true oasis of faith. Continuing to the town of Argos, you’ll visit the charming Church of Portokalousa, named after the vibrant orange trees that surround it. Your final stop is the Byzantine Museum of Argos, housed in the historic Kapodistrias Barracks. Here, you’ll explore an exceptional collection of Byzantine and post-Byzantine artifacts, including icons, mosaics, ecclesiastical objects, and architectural fragments.
