The Theatre of Epidaurus is preserved almost intact to our day, with minor restorations, it still hosts theatrical performances. It was built in the beginning of the 3d c. BCE. The Theatre is famous of its perfect acoustics where even the slightest sound like the dropping of a pin, or a heavy breath can be heard clearly by spectators in the top rows of seats.The archeological site is located 27km away from Nafplio. Our educational program consists of a guided tour of the Archaeological site of Epidaurus (including the Theatre and the sanctuary of Asclepius-the god of medicine) and drama game. An experiential approach for students, kids and families with one hour guided tour and an hour of activities: ice breaking games, warm-ups, group dynamics and drama
improvisation all inspired and themed about the origin of Greek ancient drama, Asclepius and the way cure and art were connected.

For groups over 6 people, whispers are optionally provided with an extra charge (2.50€ per person). We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes. Due to uneven and steep surfaces, this activity is unsuitable for anyone who has difficulty in walking. The entrance tickets are not included in the rate.
